Coolant Questions

Gday everyone. Im just looking for a bit of input from you all on which is the best coolant (if any) to run in an old engine. I know the old Cummins engines always used a Fleetguard water filter with a dosage in it and either water or Fleetguard DCA additive was added to spec. Whats the best to use in an old END864? Ive just got DCA in it at the moment with a WF2074 Fleetguard filter. I would put glycol in it but Im a bit worried about it being too strong for it, and finding its way into the oil or on top of a piston. The engine has been rebuilt completely and the truck has been restored, but it doesnt get driven every day and doesnt work hard too often. If anyones got any advice or helpful hints it'd be great to hear them. Thanks y'all. Cheers, Skip
