Hardy Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 Hello,I am trying to remove the one piece trunnions on a 1985 superliner.I have tried to remove the ring (with the 3/4" bolt through it)with a puller,heat and a big Hammer,but it will not budge,I have since cleaned it up and it looks like the ring is welded to the bushing?Is this normal? rhasler Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 It's supposed to slide off. If it won't slide off you may be able to set up a large puller. If it is really seized on the dead axle spindle you may have to cut through the bushing housing and the bushing. Quote "Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!"
