DRounds Posted November 24, 2010 Share Posted November 24, 2010 I am trying to change engines in my RW713. I have a RW753 parts truck, with 3406Cengine, but want to keep 12 speed from RW713. Seem the rear cab mount/cross member will not clear 12 speed. Thought there were RW753's with 12 speeds manufactured. Have all other engine mounts, front cross member, radiator and piping, just trying to make it work. Will resort to Road Ranger transmission if necessary. Looking for any information. Thanks!! MACKTRUCKS4 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 When I changed my transmission from a 9 sp. to a 12 sp., I had to move the round support bar that goes across the top of the transmission from cab mount to cab mount. The holes were already there. I don't know if that is the mount you are talking about, or is the cross member that holds the air ride cab mount in the way? My truck has an E-9.
