If it shorts out against the head or valve train components the EECU will pump too much current through the wire and burn out the circuit for the engine brake (you end up with the engine brake operating on one head only). Pretty easy to replace the solenoid. Fix it ASAP so you don't have to buy a new EECU. Quote "Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
