aspeltz Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 Currently my 1950 85LS is running with only one 12 volt battery. I want to add a second battery in parallel to double capacity. But, I want to wire the 2 ignition switches, 2 starter buttons, and battery selector switch to make it original (minus the 6 volt batteries). Right now, the truck will start with either or both ignition switches on, with either or both starter buttons, and with the battery selector in either position. Any suggestions? Firemack Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 AS Peltz,The Mack wiring diagram for B model Firetruck shows the dual battery setup. If you need a copy the Mack Museum has it.
