MMACK Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 hey all i have a 1958 h model mack on a 1985 chassis ..it was a ups truck (mack) it has an air operated clutch ie single brake chamber mouted to the clutch arm on tranny has anyone seen one or better yet have an air lin diagram for this application? thanks will post pics of truck soon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GearheadGrrrl Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 I've seen air clutches on 70s vintage UPS GMCs, but never on the later models like the Ultraliners (I think). Most of the UPS Ultraliners I've driven were late 80s though. There's an '85 or so ex-UPS Ultraliner for sale at a Bobcat dealer in Dassel, Minnesota- I'll take a look at the clutch on it the next time I get by there.
