    1998 mack rd688s, problem w/ tach .start eng reads 2400 and stays there. no in between.checked all wires ,no breaks.new sensor.continuity good.ground good.what am i missing?

    1998 mack rd688s. problem w/ tach. factory tach.reads 0 or 2400,checked all connections,ground and power, new sensor and swaped w/ other trucks, works fine
