hi again steve. just out of curiosity did it set over the winter with the intake or exhaust manifolds open as i have seen that "critters" or other objects seem to land in there. hope this helps mike

hi steve i'm kinda coming into this post late i guess but does this engine have an air compressor, back in my younger days i saw this cause various problems from leaking oil bad enough to ruin an engine to tying one up. hope this helps

ok here is a trick we used in the old days. using a welder run 4 beads of weld the length of the liner not to hot now you don't want to burn through the liner then as it cools the liner will shrink. hope this helps
