  1. I stopped at Truck Enterprises one day to get a trailer hot line circuit breaker. I used it for the dump valve on the back axle on a spread axle. I was driving a Kenworth. The parts person didn't know a thing about what I was talking about. To cover up his stupidity he tried to make it look like I was the dumb one. After some expletives I told the idiot I would get it in Keyser WV where the parts people knew the trucks they sold parts for. You dumb a$$.

  2. 3 of my trucks have Farm Tags on them but good ole N.Y. is talking of requiring NYDOT i.d.'s on every piece of farm equipment from the harrow to the harvest trucks. That will limit who drives them and now require them to be DOT compliant and subject them to NYDOT inspections on the property and with also fall under the FCMSA regulations according to the info we have received from the NYDA. My newest piece of farm equipment is 1963 my oldest is 1946. I'm going to be 63 next month I think I've just about reached the B.S. limit. Think we will just go home to Virginia and play with my AC's and Hot Rods. Paul

I feel bad for you. I couldn't put up with that. Remember you can't fix stupid.
  3. Sounds like you could have a bad wire connection.or a weak relay or bad switch. The Dynatard on my Mack would cut out sometimes and I had to put new wire end on it. Unless you put a exhaust brake on the truck changing Jakes will not stop the cutting out at low rpms. A Jake sets on top of the motor under the valve covers and works off of oil pressure and basically slows the exhaust coming out of the motor. That is as simple as I can explain it.
