  1. Yep, I need it for a 98 Ch. Lost the horn and I have other come and goes. The block is not marked so I have no idea who's who...... Soon as you can and tks.
  2. As we all know Mack parts are mostly proprietary and VIN driven. Lots of stuff has to come from the dealer.....but some parts do escape.....and can be had for a reasonable price. I would like to open this thread as a place to put suppliers and links to parts that don't have to come from dealers. I know this would improve my bottom line and could raise yours too.....
  3. Just curious...this engine series..... what's it's rebuildable potential? Can it be a 380? 427? 460? ( from a 330 ) Blocks the same with diff. jugs and cam or is the whole thing completely different? Tks...
  4. Last question on my Red Dot system...... should I insulate, tar wrap or anything else my aluminum block expansion valve on my CH ? Reason I ask is because I my air temp is only 59 on recirc.( 90's outside ) and my freon temp is 35 so I'm loosing cool somewhere. I've checked the heater valves, closed. I suspect she's scavenging hot air from the engine room through the piping outlets in the firewall and I'll address that but I don't think that's my guy. Help?
  5. Have a 98 CH day cab, E-7 350. Wouldn't crank worth sheet when I bought it. Sounded sickly and slow but started. Replaced 3 batts, starter and magnetic switch on firewall. No change. added OO ground cable from neg. starter lug to frame bolt. No change. Batts are 975 CCA and all ck good. Alt is good. Starter is the Delco 39MT high torque. Sometimes you turn key and no start, no rollover. ( 1 in 10 ) I've missed something....what is it????
  6. Tackle this on my 98 CH day cab. New hoses, evap, ex-valve, comp and drier. All from Mack So everything new except condenser. Air temp at center ducts only 60. Slap guages back on and shows freon temp at 28-30 and head is 145 to 150. E-block is sweating and so is suction line, drain is open and dripping. This is on recirc. Numbers get worse on fresh. Wassup???
  7. I have a 98 Ch with the Hendrickson air ride. I really need the dimension and procedure for setting the ride height. Thanks.....
