  1. Macks with Screaming jimmys were popular with the oil field crowd, mostly due to the aval extra parts, a lot of oil rigs use either a cat or a Jimmy to run the draw works , mud pumps ect. I believe the 8V92 turbo were used in a number of superliners. I ran one with a 92 for about 3 years hauling drilling rigs.
  2. Hello; I am new just traded for a 1990 Mack Midliner CS300 turbo, I am not use to the smaller trucks, drove long haul in a Volvo VN780 now I am doing local starting my own City Dray. Traded my 1965 VW Beetle for the Mack. The last Mack I drove was a Superliner that was years ago but I still have some good memories of that rig. Would be happy with any information anyone can give me on the 210hp turbo intercooled engines and the 6 speed auto transmissions. Anything I should watch for performance I should be looking at, any little glitches it may sometime have. Have a line on a pair of B61 1957 I believe one running the other for parts need total restore but something I am looking at.
