There was a V8 mack video from down under with a guy in a KW just awestruck about this mack running away from him up a grade. I was just searching for it the other day and couldn't find it.
Sounds like one of the dean’s. Titan versus kw in Brisbane

Some CLRs had 3406E motors as well.

Francis engineering Ohio have them

I had a fly wheel housing that wasn’t square. Now machined and true. Worth a check.

I checked the part # you gave me more widely. Found out those pistons are offered as OEM Renault part too. Looked like a two-part piston from what I could see on the pics. The listing offered such pistons for 15 days long order from France and with a cost of $666 apiece if converted from Roubles. Actually I'm not 100% sure they will bring exactly what was shown and for the cost. Need to call, ask questions etc. But at least the things look like those pistons are still avalible and they're Renault (too probably a Mack part inside the box), not PAI.
I’ll pm you Vlad

Hi and sorry for the late resopnse. As long as I know local folks use PAI kits to rebuild E9's in Renaults. They have to be imported from the States and became costy for a few last years. During my parts search I located a guy here who specializes in supply of Renault truck parts. His about the only source is PAI and he helps me getting them having a very good import quote.
Funny thing I once got a set of E7 exhaust manifold gaskets from him. The gaskets were packed in poly bags with Renault sticker on them. But the gaskets themself had "Mack" script pressed in. Those were Renault OEM pats though, not PAI.
Thanks for the info Vlad. I can get pai parts but the ee9 560 pistons are later model two piece type pistons which pai don’t do as far as I know. I was just hoping on the off chance there would be a kit sitting on someone’s shelf . Time will tell. Thanks again

Hi Vlad and sorry to change subject everyone. Vlad do you know if there are any Renault ee9 560 piston kits available anywhere over there? I think the part number is 5001831040. Thanks

Does the unit pump e9 still exist. I would love to see it

Not entirely correct outback. An electronic v8 was released in the Renault magnum as the ee9 560. They were euro two or three I think and were available to about 2000 ,2001. Either way they were meeting euro emissions when Volvo stopped production. I have always been of the understanding Europe leads the emissions race but I stand to be corrected. I have also read on this forum that mack had a complient e9 with unit pump tech that would meet the next level. Ks carbel would be the man to ask on this forum.

Does any have the flow ratings for injectors fitted to etech, etech ccrs, and Ai, ac aset 460 engines. Are all these injectors interchangeable. Eg ac to ccrs. Any help appreciated.

I think everybody should send an email to Oshkosh hq and plant a seed. As said earlier volvo may need quick cash and mack could become all american again taken over by a very successful all american company. Did under estimate planting a seed either. People in top jobs are only human and could take to any small idea and run with it. Many emails, many seeds. May take a while to grow, but you never know
Here's to hope for all american MACK

an old thermostat might be loosing efficiency. my truck was holding coolant temp ok so i thought and oil temp was running higher and i couldn't work out why. When i replaced the thermostat it was obvious the fan had been working harder then it had to to keep temps at bay. My coolant temp now pulls back quickly, fan works half the amount of time and oil temp is back to normal. Over time you don't notice your cooling system working harder and harder. May not be your problem but for the sake of a thermostat its worth a try. Cheers

Titans in Australia have cummins. No malvo motors till next year and they will be rated at 685hp with 2300ft/pd's of torque. These engines in the volvo's walk past everything up toowoomba range. Cootes fuel haulers love them.lmao................it hurt em in austrailia......i cant understand why in the states they dont option a big bunk we can get 68's here, dont matter tho volvo are doing a good job of killing mack off over here .........junk utter junk, new titans with malvo motors , my 7.3 powerstroke'd f truck can out pull these pieces of shit!
