Very nice looking R model.I have been reading the posts for a while, and thought I would post a few pictures.
Here is my 1976 RS700L I bought in 1980 from Tom Stellman (CatomTrucking). He replaced this truck with a new Superliner. The "L" had a V8 with a Mack 6 speed (2 stick), and 417 rears. A lot of miles running (racing?) up and down Rt 59 out of the Plainfield pits. I will will be adding more pictures later. Ken

I love that truck. I want to see it in person. 😍

Am I seeing things, or do I see more than one U model? They all look like they have offset cabs.
-
SWEET Mike. Love the Superliner 1's the best with the round headlights.
-
Watch out for that Amish Mafia. Superliner hood looks good.

Those are awesome M models there.
-
That's sad. Any pictures of them R models in the background? Was their any U models?
-
You really have to get pictures of that U model dump. Please. Please.
Nice B model by the way. Do you know the year or any info on the U?
-
Where is that truck now?

Happy birthday.

Those are so cool Al!!!

That truck is awesome.Found a pic of Charlie Vasel's tri-axle from the for sale ad a few years back

Very cool. Town of Martinsburg NY has a big single axle orange RM that they plow and sand with but I don't have pictures of it. Lewis County has a tandem orange DM dump that they only use in the summer. They have a big water tank in the dump box and they only use it for that. No pictures either.

Glad you like them,Vinman. The "pictures of pictures" are not great, but you can tell what they are,and see the variety of MACK equipment Mr. Celli had run over the years.
He didnt run any U models did he?

Very cool pictures Al!

Sweet. Looks like the one I saw up by me. Could be one of them. I love the ones with the old Mack logo on the doors.
-
Yup. We gotta chip burner.

Not to offend anyone but I think the 237 is bullet proof. I love it. Especially with a 5 speed. Always gets the job done. But, everyone has their own opinions.

Happy birthday!
