That is awesome! You guys must have strong backs,I used to,but too many years in a F model.
Reminds me of a story I used to tell.
Years ago I went to Gilley's in Texas. After watching several "cowboys" get bucked off the mechanical bull,I decided to give it a try.I jumped up in the saddle, and they started winding it up,I just sat there, took a can of Skoal out of my pocket and took a dip,Asked someone to throw me a can of beer, popped it open and drank it,by then they had it cranked as hard as it would go and I was still in the saddle. After they shut it down and I climbed off,Mickey Gilley came up to me and said "that beats anything I ever seen, nobody's ever hung on that long, let alone drink a beer and take a dip of snuff like nothing was going on,you must be a pro bull rider."
I said " heck,that ain't nothing,try driving a F model Mack with a 144" wheelbase and Camelback suspension across Highway 78 in Iowa"

I NEVER LIKED THAT.Your apparent man crush on Rob and some other members is becoming troubling. I think as Rob told Vinny ...

Oh I go there when ever I can. Will be going this coming weekend. I think she will be ready to roll by the end of summer 2014. So next year.Looking Good Vinny, you need to spend more time out at your Grand Parents working on your truck. When do you think it will be ready to roll?

DM600's had fiberglass noses too Paul. Some had short stell noses.ok i get it, anything with with an offset cab and steel nose is a DM, anything with a centered cab and steel nose is a RD, anything with an offset cab and fiberglass nose is a U and anything with a centered cab and fiberglass nose is an R Model

237 is a good motor. I don't know if a 350 would fit in that DM.I would like to find another engine, maybe a 300 or 350 to build as I get the money, you know a little at a time and then I will be ready if something ever happens to this one, I have found a truck with a 350 in it 2 vavle like mine but someone has put a tipturbine set up on it and I thank the 350 were all air to air, but the engine plate clearly says it a 350 hp, and it has a 13 speed eaton with it, would this be a good engine to get and swap out latter on

Not really... Someone I'm very close too though. I see him all the time. You?
