What do you guys think a decent looking 36" Mercury sleeper is worth, I have a chance to buy one plus a 66" flattop Double Eagle sleeper that came off of a Liberty edtion Superliner. just wandering what they would be worth.

I bought a set while I was at York this year, had $68.00 in 4 long and 1 short.

If you have to order a new one you ought to have whoever looks it up order it and send it to you. if the dealer doesn't know how or not want to mess with an old truck I would rather give my business to someone like Rick or Barry that will take the time to look up parts, just my opinion.

If you have anyway to check the serial numbers. we had a 76 R686ST 10834 that we hauled grain for years then sold it to a local farmer. it is short with a stationary fifth wheel and had a newer cab put on it. it could be a Matlack truck don't know. if you want to check the numbers I can see if the guy wants to sell it. he has had it about 10 years. You are looking for a diff. lock that locks the axles together.

Make sure all the axle nuts are turned straight with the axle and they will pop right on, can,t remember what size they are.

I would say governor springs getting weak in the pump.

you should be able to get the tip turbine freed up with some PB Blaster just spray around the inside of the fan to get it loose, it has sealed bearings.

An ETAZ673A is a 300+ witch is a 315 hp. should have plenty of power. if it has been sitting a long time make sure the rack is not stuck, sometimes it can run wide open, make sure you can disconnect the fuel line quick if it happens.

My dad likes bluegrass music and he has been to Renfro Valley before said it was nice to visit, but if enough trucks show up it would be worth the drive. I have the Farm Collector show directory, I will look at it.

Does yours have the wiper motor under the dash or under the hood. I will have to look but I had a complete brand new under the dash wiper ass. motor included. everything but the wiper arms. I will see if I can find it.

Anyone around Kentucky know if there is any truck shows around Kentucky, last year there was one listed in the Wheels Of Time ( I think ) that was in Renfro valley , Ky. I saw there is one in Paris, Ky. but I wanted to check out the one in Renfro valley. how many trucks show up at Paris or Renfro, I don't want to come from north central Indiana for just a few trucks. Anyone have a picture of him, i may have talked to him at Macungie but there are so many people there it is hard to remember names. he does have some nice trucks. I love that orange Superliner that he has.

I used the shaft and knurled part out of a Budd style Ford cab, then i tacked it on the B model flat piece, you have to make sure you have it timed right before you weld it.

Does it have a little tag on the fuel pump around the tach drive or is that the tag you were talking about.

I put new brake chambers on the front a while back, i'm thinking I used 20 on the front and 24 on the back. I also installed auto slack adjuster on it too.
