 Does anyone have a complete Jake Brake for a Cummins 220. I think Model 20 is the number i need.I also would like a Jake Model 25 B for a Small Cam Cummins. Of course reasonable. Thanks.

My Dad hauled Ramblers from Kenosha,Wisconsin in the late 1950's and 1960's.He had 5 trucks leased to Arco Auto Carriers Chicago,Illinois.2 of the trucks were Studebakers with I think 4-53 power. Quite a job before I-80 was built across Penna. on Route 6.

Paul I like all of them but the B-61 Integral Sleeper looks great. Sanders,spokes and looks like spread axle.Great classic colors.That was trucking in high cotton. Nice job.

I was leased to Washington California Express in the 1980's owned by the late George Appel from Dallas,Penna. One of his original trucks he ran to the coast was a W-71 Mack. He kept a picture of it on his deask and would ask drivers if they knew what it was. I happily acknowledged I knew what it was. Good guy to work for bring in clean delivery receipts and he paid you on the spot.Calex from Hunlock Creek,Penna. was the same. This is when Calex had only 5 or 6 trucks of his own. Now he has hundreds.Times change.

I think with the one piece windshield in 1955 was called first edition.

Looks like nice tin. About as nice original you will find. I would love to have it but too many already.

It seems like the CA cab to axle is too short. I always thought the mininum Ca should be 72" minimum for clearance  with nose of trailer. Standard trailer pin setting was 36" for freight boxes and flats.

If your truck runs well and you have insurance and tags I would go for it. Take some tools and filters if a diesel a jug of fuel to prime filters if needed.I found the hardest part of buying an old truck is arranging transport at a reasonable cost.

  F-Model is still avaible from what I have heard.

I have a 1962 B-67 with the standard flat back cab that was an option on the spec sheet. My B-67 has a smaller steering wheel also maybe 20". It helps when you are 300 lbs.

If you go to the Just Old Trucks site the moderator Eddy Lucast is a distributor for KBS products. They have the factory mix for Cummins Old Gold and other engine colors. He is good to deal with.

Yes it has wedge brakes. I went to the Ebay pictures  and there they were wedgies.They should have kept it in the garage a few more years. Maybe the wedges would turn into cam brakes. Wishful thinking.

On Ebay, Global Truck Parts Archbald, PA has a brand new never used F-Model Mack Glider Kit powered by a 300 maxidyne,5 speed. It was at $10,000.00 reserve not met last I checked. Under commercial trucks.

  The White 5000 is too ugly for pictures. Seriously I am not able to post pictures.

  If someone wants a White 5000 I have one for sale. Single axle sleeper 220 Cummins 10 speed Roadranger. It turns over but I never started it. $1,600.00 It is in Northeastern Penna.

 I have a B-67 with the flat back cab. Quite a bit more room than the concave cab. I am 6'3" and 295 lbs. Not the most comfortable truck for me to drive but I do OK in it. Doghouse is not in the way for me it does not stick out past dash.
