  1. Could it be that a piston in the dynatard is sticking?

    Was the Dynatard rebuilt?

Silnoid routes oil through the passage ways and holds a small piston down.

When the power is pulled off, (12 volt) the piston should move back (up) and all is well.

Pull the one that is hanging up and check for scoring.

A little bit of polishing is too much!

Replace/rebuild and see if that wont fix it!

  2. Doing some work on a TRD 670.

Getting it ready for warm weather (If that ever happens).

Found a cracked/broken ear on the input shaft bearing cover.

It's had a rough life the last few years, getting moved from here to there more than once!

Finally found a really good project for the trans and now this!!

So-o-o-o I hope some one has a housing that will fix my problem!

Any one out there got such an item?

Other than that the trans looks really good.

Please e-mail or call if you've got one.

    Pressures not on yet!!

  3. I've always used a heavy steel plate turned just under sized with a step cut in it to match the inside of the liner.

A hole is drilled in the center and a threaded rod run through it.

A hydrolic cylinder that has a hole thru it is placed on a stand and the thing was jacked up and pulled the liner.

Might be a hassle, but it worked every time and when you got thru, the thing was always there for the next time you needed it.

No goobers from welding dropping on the crank shaft and all 6 were pulled in an hour or so.

DM's were special because #5 cylinder set under the firewall and took lots of extra stuff to keep the thing coming out.

    Fast,clean and easy!

  4. I don't have the smarts to draw a schmatic and poet it but - - - the power flow is:

1)From the 'Hot' buss bar to a fuse or breaker

2)Fuse or breaker to the dash switch

3)Then I run mine to the clutch switch (As HK stated, "Adjusted correctly")

4)Clutch switch to the pump/fuel linkage switch (Adjusted correctly)

    5)To the Jake boxes

A test light or multimeter clipped onto each switch will help troubleshoot and adjust each switch.

Might also check for broken wire or loose connections

I can't remember a switch ever going bad but it can happen.

    Usually just needs tweeking.
