Where is it? Who has it?S. Ippolito from Stamford with Carlucci Brothers
The truck years later, now in Mass

Yes it is.
They sure did have a fleet to be proud of. The dm 800's were some of the prettiest around. Too bad they sold out to the ant eater, what a shame. Would have been nice to see them with some granites.

I loved that truck when I saw it, I met the owner awhile back. He wanted to sell it but wasn't sure what he wanted, then I was on vaca in Plymouth and saw it at southeastern mack. Took it for attest ride and loved it, 400 18 spd. I wish it was in my garage, I hope the new owner is good to her.
I have this Superliner on my phone! Took several pics up at the burn plant in Concord NH last summer. Belongs to a crane company. Beautiful rig!

I think springs are good for antiques and heavy tandems. I would want air ride with 50 rears for my tractor or tri axle. Look at what the mixers do, you can't get any more severe duty than that nowadays. Just a shame it's Hendrickson that as the heavy air ride.

Frame probably cracked so they hung a plow on it and killed the poor girl

I think it all comes down to the driver. I know a guy that stuffs his 379 short nose tri axle dump everywhere the macks tri go, and its air ride. I don't know

That would look great in my front yard with some shrubs and flowersThat DM800 is still in the same spot as of late September
-
I just like it because it was good money for this time of year.
It's great for making money, no fuel.

Ok I was getting jealous.
It's not over yet tomorrow is parking lot day, move snow from one side to the other. Probably do 100 loads all day into the night.
-
Yes they were, I remember the black truck very well. I can't imagine have 25 trucks to having none.I think these R model tri-axles were Stockbridge as well. I remember seeing them down in CT

I was thinking the same thing, Amish mafia. Watch out Levi, Mack truck comin throughThought I would generate some excitement today by going across a steep curvy mountain closeby...did pretty good...hardly used the brakes, gave the engine brake a good workout! Learned to use the engine brake when I needed a "quick" upshift!
Up ahead is the mountain we will cross See the power line...that's where we will cross! Twice!
Get to the base, turn right Initial climb...long and straight
First cross of the power line Hmmmmmmmm...looks sharp!
Switchback! The first of two Second cross...pretty high up now!
Switchback on the other side Curves are sharp! Cant imagine dragging a 53 footer across this!
Heading back across... WTF! Of course coming up on a blind 90 degree curve
