I am a first time vintage Mack owner. After three years of fun, sweet and smiles I need to shop Insurance. I have a 1960 Mack H-67-LT. Can I get some insurance suggestions out there. I live in the Northwest and would like to stay local if possible.
Thank You!

I need a pair of brake shoes for my hand brake , on a 1960 h-67-lt mack. The drum size is 5" x 12" the shoes have a single web. The shoes just need to be good enough to reline or a new pair it does not matter.
Thank You!

ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!
Finally!!!!!!!!!
After 7 years and I couldn’t even begin to count the hours, I took her up the road to her first Flying J fuel stop and back to PAI this past Saturday, (85 uneventful miles)
Of course there needs to be a few adjustments and details dealt with but all in all a very successful trip. The old girl rides and drives like a dream. The comfort level inside is high with the air ride seats smoothing out anything that a 46 year old Mack truck would send to a poor old driver.
What’s next? Finish some details, lots of pics, maybe a publication would be nice. I'll have more pics and possible video for BMT in near future.
Happy Holidays, Jim
Thank You !
The Ol'Dawg has no Fleas now!

Yeah we got some compassionate SOB's on here, (IB 1OFEM). I don't need no stinkin compassion, I get sympathy at home from all you guys pickin on me.
Didn't get to screw with the truck anymore today cause I needed a delousing and medicinal bath. Momma's mother was coming by tonight for dinner, and I have to bathe in iodine salts weekly to keep this incessant fungus growth within the skin folds of my stomach at bay. Momma's mother don't much care for the way I smell anyways, so I got to be careful around her. Momma listens to her closely and I usually have a price to pay for being Rob.
We went out to dinner tonight at the local supper club. I had a 28 ounce sirloin that is marketed as "Steak for Two". Momma, mother in law, and Nikki had spaghetti which is also very good but when I go out it's always steak. The owner is a farmer and raises all the beef that is served in his restaurant. It does cost a bit more than the chain steak houses, but with the quality of meat, is worth the difference.
Right now I'm too full to work on the truck. Actually kinda feeling like a beached whale. Got more than my fair share of gas too. Nikki had me eat her spicey meatballs, and I cleaned up Momma's plate when she was through. Mother in law is physically larger than Momma and has my appetite. There are usually no table scraps left over from her.

I went to the Lucas Oil Hot Rod Semi event Monday night at the Washington County (PA) Fair and got to have a nice conversation with Dick Bonner about his Dale Francis built Mack Superliner they affectionately call "Killer". That truck is a masterpiece! I also got to check out Chad Rodgers new variation of his truck called "Unleashed". It was a cab over Cruiseliner the past few seasons and over the winter they built a new R-model version. It only has a 6 cylinder single turbo'd Mack for power, but as an old dog lover, I think it is absolutely outstanding! Also, hopefully by the end of the week I'll have video's uploaded also!
Check em' all out...
Killer!
Thanks for sharing the pic's. What fun! I don't think we get to see stuff like that out here in the Northwest!

I have a 1960 mack h-67 and the questions are!
1. is this truck 12 or 24 volt?
2. is it positive ground from the factory?
3. how can I tell if it has been changed over to neg through the years?
I bought the truck at auction and the batteries were hooked up for 12V. The batteries where new and had 12 v each but I still had to jump as the truck did start but, turned over slow.

anybody have any good suggestions for a air brake schematic. im restoring a 61 mack b753t that was originally a single screw but transformed from the factory to a twin screw. it sat in a field since 1995 in harsh illinois winters and alot of the lines disinegrated.i want to put it back to factory specs and this is my first undertaking of an antique mack.the bendix site doesnt really guide me all to well. any help is greatly appreciated.im going to use all plastic lines also.
Try contacting the Mackmuseum.com If they have finished their move, the can provide the original schematic.
I hope this helps. I have a 1960 H model and if any pic's or other info will help let me know!
