    A client of mine has just imported from the States a 1960 Mack, Model B85. I have been asked to check out the starting fault and found the truck to be a 12v system and positive earth, can someone tell me if this is standard? or have the batteries been fitted incorrectly? The truck is fitted with a petrol / gas motor and set up as a fire engine. any help would be greatly appreciated. Harry

    I have been asked by a client to check out a starting problem on a 1960 Mack, Model B85, can someone tell me if the came out with a 12V electrical system and positive earth? it is wired up this way.
