I'm still alive, just been getting ready for school to start back up Tuesday. I got my God grandfather helping me get my CDL (Be learning pulling a flatbed) and then once I do that I may be driving for someone out of KC pulling a flatbed in the state of Illinois.

Vermont, along with Alaska has some of the best gun laws. Go into a shop, buy gun, buy ammo, load gun and walk out of store with gun concealed. 100% legal! No license required for ownership or carry in Vermont. Assault weapons and Class 3 machine Gun transfers are also legal, no suppressors (silencers) though. We used to have a house up there, the state is beautiful.

I figured Vermont was a Liberal state like the rest of the Northeast. Doesn't surprise me about Alaska with their gun laws at all. Besides how many Liberal's would want to live in constant cold?

It's sad that one city can control us country folks down here in Southern Illinois.

Mine's a 97 with a gold dog. 38k rears with 3.86 gears 18sp and just an air power divider. Makes for a nice cruisin speed...1575rpm @ 70mph. I wouldn't go any lower (numerically higher) than that next time around. I don't think I could justify the heavier rears either. I don't haul anything heavy, just adds to the tare weight...

I been looking on truck paper and ebay motors and with the newer trucks as far back as 95-97 the gold bulldog represents an all Mack transmission and rears.

Ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich says he's "blacker than Barack Obama" and tells Esquire magazine that he was a real person in a political arena dominated by phonies.

Blagojevich, referring to the president as "this guy," says Obama was elected based simply on hope.

"What the (expletive)? Everything he's saying's on the teleprompter," Blagojevich told the magazine for a story in its February issue, which hits newsstands Jan. 19.

"I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived," Blagojevich said. "I saw it all growing up."

The White House refused to comment.

Believe it or not Dickies boots are pretty comfortable and last. I only had mine a month or so and they broke in right away. The thing I love about these boots is the insole is padded where other boots are not padded. It's like going from a Mack Camelback suspension to a Mack air ride suspension.....A night and day difference. If they can get me through the year I'll be happy. I got them on sale for $70.00 at Sears. If you want junk Thad then Brahmas are for you. Then again I got them from Walmart if that tells you anything. They only lasted me 3 months before the insole was down to nothing and made my feet sweat and stink. The Dickies don't do that at all and I can wear these things all day long and my feet don't hurt at all. What's funny is these were the only boots I could find in my size (7). Everything else was way too big for me, I was about to give up and keep wearing them Brahmas until I decided to look at the Dickies and found one my size and tried it on and I was in heaven. So I bought them, put them on and threw them Brahmas away.

If it was a Republican who said this they would have asked for them to resign and beheaded them. But since it's a Democrat it's ok to make racist remarks. I still don't get why 90% of blacks even support the Democrats, the Democrats haven't done a damn thing but continue to divide this country. Robert Byrd (Democrat from WV) was/is a member of the KKK. But yet Republicans are looked at as slavery supporters. Oh boy people need to go back and read a history book or two because it was the Democrats who supported slavery and it was the Republicans a then newly formed party just like the tea party wanted to abolish slavery. While I'm on the issue of slavery those Southern white plantation owners didn't "own" the slaves. The slaves were owned by the Northern industries at the time. If the North had the climate of the South there would have been slavery in the North as well. It's interesting how little people know about our nation's history. It's comments like that from the Democrats that tick me off. I done rambled on long enough.
