In France, Renault Trucks put the ee9 engine in the magnum with three power: 500hp, 520hp and 560hp with the french gearbox B18. You can see my avatar is an 520hp

You can see in the gallery some mack buid in France and some leaflet. You can see Mack have his own cabin for France and Europ. The problem is than Mack have not an good advertisement office and an bad coverage of garage. And at last the price is very high. I think that the reason than Mack quit France after they lost many money.

I enjoyed your gallery. Those are some very interesting Macks. I don't think I have ever seen those types before. So you also enjoy War Birds. I do also.

I enjoy also warbirds and If you know we have in France an big collection in La Ferte Alais. I'm going in two sunday per month to restore planes. I want restore also an but they very difficult to find one and the price was very expensive to buy an wreck. So I dream with your nice pictures.

You can find in my gallery somes pictures of Mack trucks built in France ( yes its possible ). Unfotunately Mack return in USA and we lost the most magnificent trucks in the world ... LOL...

Volvo buy Renault trucks and they have in the wedding corbel Mack. In France when the group renault sale renault trucks many people said that' finish. And they are the right thing. For example the Magnum have the mack engine and now that finish. We have now volvo engine in the magnum that the begin of the end. In US volvo buy White and now where is White? When Renault trucks buy Mack I never ear they want to change Mack. They injected many money for saving Mack and they don't change the legend. They want use Mack only to have a new market. You have the Midliner and the freedom but they don't want to change the big trucks. The R series continue his life and the CH was born and the Vision. I think Volvo change the Mack in the wrong way.

Don't be disapointed, you have some collectors of Mack trucks in France. But the french legislation is very hard for the old véhicles. So we can see the trucks only in meeting like "24H du Mans camions" or "Locomotion en fete". We have also some trucks who work but only for long road. We haven't an importer for Mack in France. Renault trucks don't want to agreed the Mack in France. You have an importer in England, Spain and netherland. But they sale perhaps two or three trucks by year. The European législation is very hard for trucks. For example the length for semitrailer is 15m50 and if you have an tractor like the CH or Vision you are too long. And the price for Américan trucks with the tax and the importation is important so the american trucks is only luxury trucks.

I'm an French guy who is very enthusiast by Mack trucks. I live in France, in the west of Paris (1 hour). In France we have some real Mack and Renault trucks with Mack engines. Mack built trucks in France in the 50' years but they quit France unfortunately. So that one reason if I love these trucks.
