  1. Ok yes I think I was thinking about that wrong. Too many projects going on :D. But I’m not seeing anything that looks like a piston. Am I missing it? I haven’t taken anything off besides the covers
  2. I may be thinking about it wrong. I have the truck in neutral and rear driveshaft off and the input and output of front differential are locked together and spin freely. However when I take a pry bar and push spring back and try to spin either shaft on power divider it won’t turn. Truck isn’t jacked up. So maybe it isn’t locked?
  3. New to me 94 ch600. Previous owner had power divider air line unhooked. I took a blow gun and blew into fitting on front cone and air came out differential breather. Now it appears power divider is locked even without air pressure. I suspected maybe bad diaphragm but not seeing one anywhere on what I’ve taken off so far. Any tips on what to look for or possible issues?
  4. Are the electronic malfunction and shutdown engine lights supposed to illuminate when you turn the key to run before starting? If so, mine aren’t and I’m wondering if maybe I have a power issue to the computer?
  5. Guessing it has vmac. It’s not fully mechanical, it has an electronic governor
  6. I believe so on top of the filter housing? If it means anything though oil pressure is coming up like normal
  7. Just bought a 94 ch600 a couple weeks ago and it ran fine on the way home. Now when I crank it up it will run like normal for right at 30 seconds then shut down like you turned the key off. Crank it right back up and same result. Had a lot of people tell me coolant level sensor will cause this but this one appears to have been unplugged a long time ago and bypassed. What else should I look for? I was also told to try to check codes by holding cruise button down but unless I’m going it wrong I couldn’t get any lights to flash doing that
