  1. Ok so it has nothing to do with overheating? The only time it would do it is when the temp would go up? Also do I need to do anything to burp the engine or will it sort it self out? also it seems like the sensor is at the top of the radiator isn’t that an odd spot to get a reading for low level? so whats the fix just a new sensor? The coolant level has always been full btw
  2. Is the temp sensor for the gauge on the radiator. And the one for the warning system on the coolant manifold? Any way to test them besides temp gun
  3. I’ve got an 89 R model with an e6. In the winter my dumptruck would run cold and now things are warming up it would go up in temp and the I’d get a shutdown light and buzzer. Mainly when I was loaded on a warm day. I figured it was time for a thermostat. I just replaced it and now it warms up quick and holds an even temp however the shut down buzzer and light are on. My question is could a temp sensor to the warning be bad? The temp on the gauge is 155 but im not sure the accuracy of the gauge….
  4. Ok, that’s the one I saw that was cut then. I assumed it had a Speedo cable because the tach was a cable and all the parts say Speedo/tach cable
  5. What’s up guys, so my truck had a t2080 swapped form the original t2090. The Speedo and tranny temp doesn’t work? I haven’t taken a deep look. It looks like the wires to the temp was cut. my question is are the sensor and cable the same for Speedo and temp? Or do I need to switch and will the temp gauge still be good? I’d assume so but figured I’d ask
  6. Yeah I ordered the book but it takes a couple of weeks to come in. I’m trying to get my truck to pass safety right now so I can use it. So far I’ve only see one relay from the factory and both in g aftermarket on the truck.
  7. Ok more info the headlight/parking light switch first pic seems to turn the headlights on in either position the second switch on top of the dash seems to do nothing
  8. Yeah I sprayed some terminal cleaner and scrapped it around with a pick
  9. Headlight high low mounted to the floor
  10. I noticed someone added a side marker onto the dimmer on the buss nest to the headlight could that be interfering with it?
  11. Yeah I checked there for breaks the hinge area
  12. So there is a harness that has brown and yellow (same on the dimmer) it shares another harness in the same loom that is a bunch of greens I think it piggy backs to the other headlight. If I disconnect I either lights got out. The green connects to bus next to steering shaft that is 10-14
  13. And one of this harness does connect to the bus on the firewall
  14. Looks like a harness comes out of fire wall splits into two harness and leads to a bus next to each headlight
  15. The dimmer switch was bad I replaced it but I still have nothing. It’s the original connector
  16. I clicked the link Joey but nothing comes up
  17. Ok I ran a new power wire to the washer switch and now the pump works. im dead in the water on what to do with the high beam though. Head lights come on and the dimmer switch has power to it but I can’t get the head lights to change any suggestions?
  18. Not yet I’ve chased down all wires one for the high beam(brown and white I think) on the power buss on the passenger side by headlight was disconnected but nothing. The new switch has power but I can’t get it to send juice to where ever it needs to go
  19. Thanks Jojo, how does the sequence go for these panels I tried left to right in ascending numbers but the breaker amps don’t match.
  20. IMG_7233.HEIC ok hopefully this works now… here’s what I have for breakers/relays
  21. Please post anything you have and I’ll see if it relates. I keep trying to post a picture of the breakers and relays but it won’t post? I’ve posted other pictures no problem. it’s crazy I can’t find info for this truck but my 67 Chevy which is way older I have unlimited information available
  22. The main thing I’m struggling with is a diagram of all the breakers and the couple relays it would save me lots of time. I found the tank and pump already someone sawzaw’d a flap to access it haha. I’d like to try and maintain the original look but the breaker panel isn’t marked at all I’d hate to just have to run new wires for everything
  23. It’s an 1989 so shouldn’t there be a manual then?
  24. For some reason it won’t let me upload a picture of the breakers and relays
