  1. 2 mounts on the gearbox are good, bolts are tight. Mount on the front of engine near flywheel are tight but still hitting turbo
  2. Mack Trident 1998 model 470 etech, turbo touching steering column when accelerating hard under load. Engine and gearbox mounts look ok. anyone with any ideas would be great. Cheers
  3. Have a Mack vision with a v-Mac 3 in it. It’s very sluggish starting, engine turns over very slow then will eventually start. any idea why it would be doing this? Any help would be great. Thanks.
  4. Ok thanks, that would be great. The sensor on flywheel has no shims but the one on the camshaft has one and it is throwing an intermittent code under power
  5. Hi just wondering how many shims go on the engine position sensor near the crankshaft on the front of the engine? end do any shims go on the other one on the bell housing? engine is a ea7 470 etech! any help would be great cheers
  6. gday probably a pretty easy question but have been getting heaps of different answers. How much engine oil does a Mack 470 etech vmac3 hold? thanks
  7. Never had that code, always 3-4
  8. Ok I’ll have a look at the fuel and the sensor, only does it when accelerating, take foot off pedal the code goes away? Any ideas why?
  9. Filters are new, just did them. I’ll check pressure. What is the best way of doing g that on these old girls?
  10. Could be, haven’t looked there. Basically if you hold the pedal flat it’s doing it, not getting enough fuel or something around those lines. 3-4 code is coming up but have replaced both engine position sensors and still doing it.
  11. 1998 Mack trident with a 470 etech vmac3 engine in it. Not getting full power when accelerating, when giving more accelerator it feels like it’s trying to produce power but then dies. anyone have any idea why? cheers
