  1. That’s cool, I also appreciate the history. I collect old Russian ww1 and ww2 hardware and love investigating all the markings and trying to piece together the history of a single item over time - where and when it was different places only to end up we me after all these years.
  2. Appreciate it folks. Enjoying the truck and the company here.
  3. Using it as a farm truck. Haul equipment and supplies to and from the farm. Seems everything is just odd on it - but it works. For example has 2 key switches semi-in series, one with a key under the dash and one that’s just a lever on the column. So you turn one to run, turn the other to run, then crank the first one to start. There’s also a key fob that can be involved in that process. I can’t imagine what function that would serve except just to befuddle people who haven’t seen it before.
  4. Been around trucks for many years, always wanted one, but never owned one myself. Finally bought a chunk of land in the north and decided to buy a retired postal cxn612 when they liquidated them. Lurked for a while here, learned a bunch already. Thanks for all the info so far. The new rubber on it alone was worth about 1/2 of my investment price, so couldn’t beat the deal. Not pretty, but she runs with only a few issues so far. If anyone knows where to find info on those “quirky postal specs”, I’d always appreciate more info. They built ‘em a little strange.
