I was putting on a air leveling valve today and finally spotted roll pins. No wonder I could not find them, they are the size of a small,
small finishing nail. The slipper pads looked as they would be pretty large (framing nail size).
On a side note, way are these air ride valves failing. 2nd in year and half. Very clean air, no oil or water.?

No one can help?

Mack sells wiper arm assy. rebuild kits. The are a bitch with no room to work. But they have them. Not expensive either.

In the post "Air Ride broke", just ahead of his finger I need to replace the teflon pad. Mine does not have torx bolts to remove. Someone told me you
have to drill and tap to get pins out. Could I just lift axle, and dump air, and place pad in? It's missing and is loud.

I posted some picture of one awhile back, I think that company owns at least 3 or 4. As far as I know they still don't have a factory sleeper option, the one in my picture had an aftermarket affair installed. On a side note, I hear the GU is supposed to be getting an HOS sleeper option in the future.
Where can I find your pics?

Has anyone bought one yet? I've got a call into Balt. Mack.

I'll be there sometime before 12. Thanks for update, boots in back of truck, and NO Spiked heels for my wife.
Just look for a clueless guy with hot wife, in the 40's.
Look for Flyer's cap.

Has anyone converted a CH613 for the install of an R model hood?
If so how much was involved?
Thanks

I've used 2" tow straps with weather strip adhesive and glued to strap. Installed strap after glue cured.
If you can't find them.

Ok on my mack cf 600 my fuel gauge isnt working. Its stuck on E, however the cut off switch does turn it on and off so the gauge its self works. My question is is it a stuck float? Also where is the float exactly inside the gas tank? Any one else have this problem and how did you fix it? Thanks for the help.
Look for a plate with 2 wires somewhere and screws on top of tank. Usually a universal sending unit should work.

Could someone please post the ride height for a CH613 with Meritor rears?
Last six if needed 139664
I had it stored as a note in phone and forgot to save before a rom flash.
Thanks

Hi, I second this, would pull the hub apart and look at bearings, just cause temp is down, doesnt mean its ok. if it was difs you should be able to alter the noise with your accelator, and same if it was rest of driveline, that would make a noise no matter what way you go. I would expect your wheel bearing is pitted
good luck. Grant
Yes it was a left side bearing. I've been chasing the noise for 4 months. I always thought it was left till right lug caps came off. Vibration from broken
brake spring. At that time we used dial indicator on king pins and hub, all checked out per specs. Well the noise got louder last week and finally we got some
noise and play spinning by hand. The outer bearing was wiped. Worse part you need the hub, as bearings cannot be bought per Mack and Meritor.
I'm sure I could have had the number cross as they where a CR bearing. I thought there must have been a reason these style hubs should not rebuilt, they would
have had a core charge.
Thanks for all reply's
Rear diff my need work.

We at freightliner built a latrge press that would bolt on to 4 lug bolts and then use a 20 ton bottle jack and lay side ways between the axle splinde end and against the inside of the press. Some times they are at least the early ones was very hard to get off.We have had to cut them around the brh race to loosen up.Many of those hubs came off of the truck going down the road.
Thanks I think I did something simular with bottle jack. It's off.
