  1. Hello all. Do they sell a gasket set for this transmission and if so does anybody know the part number? I have a part number for the O ring kit but looking to replace all the cover gaskets etc.
  2. Where is the “Brain Trust” when you need ‘em ?
  3. Hello all. I’m looking at a low mileage e7-300 from a cab over to replace a tired em7-300 in a dump truck. Both are fully mechanical. Can the maxidyne pump be taken off and placed on the e7-300 to make it an em7-300 or are the internals different? Also is there an option to turn the e7-300 into a 350 or 400 hp engine and if so what would need to be done? I understand that if I get away from the maxidyne set up I would need more gears and different rears because I have T2070 and 5:73.
  4. I bought it as a complete unit pto, Hyd pump and driveshaft I was going to put a 12 speed in my truck but my plans have changed. Not sure what ratio it is. Are you looking for the whole setup or just pto?
  5. I guess that would be a tight cab for me. I barely have enough leg room in my RD
  6. This one is 405hp but could be programmed to 395 I assume. In comparison to my em7-300 fully mechanical, how would this engine rate ? Mine starts pulling around 900 rpm. Is this a high torque at low rpm engine or does it need revs ?
  7. Anybody have any thoughts on this engine good or bad regarding performance and reliability? It has no dpf
  8. I can prob get you one but how would I get it to you?
  9. Would the cab on this truck be shorter than an RD model? And if so how many inches?
  10. That is exactly what it looks like. So this is the old style dash. Can the new style dash be swapped in by just unbolting it ?
  11. I don’t have a pic but the dash is rounded over the steering wheel and at about 45 degree angle in front of pass seat. Ignition switch is on left side of steering wheel instead of right side. Does not look like a normal Mack dash setup
  12. Doesn’t look like the typical vertical Mack dash it has a different angle to it
  13. Hi I have a question about a Mack DM fire truck. The dash area of this truck looks different than a regular DM. Can the dashboard / gauges be replaced with that of a regular DM (non fire apparatus)? Does the dash just unbolt for an easy swap? Thanks
  14. Does anybody know what this engine is worth in running condition? Looks like is has leaks here and there, appx 325k miles unsure of hours. Prob would be buying it just to have it. Has Mack 12 speed attached to it
  15. Hello all. Blew a grease seal on trunnion shaft at base of trunnion due to frozen relief valve on cap. I assume this is an expensive repair. Can anyone comment on this?
  16. Blew an O ring seal on shaft on outer side of trunnion. Is this an expensive repair I assume. Anybody?
  17. Hello all. What is the proper way to grease this suspension to get the grease to where it needs to go and what type of grease is best to use?
  18. Hello all. Currently running an EM7-300 mechanical in dump truck. Looking to upgrade to a newer truck which is an 06 with the 370. Being a maxidyne can I expect similar performance with the stock engine or would I have to do turbo, injectors etc?
  19. The trucks are an 88 and a 96. Both are RD 690s
  20. Wanting to put in a good running E6 to replace worn E7 mechanical. Would this be a direct bolt in or would I need to change motor mounts etc.?
  21. Both engines are 1996 E7 mechanical. One is 250 hp with an Allison transmission, the other is a 300 hp maxidyne with T2070. The 300 is tired. Can I swap turbo, pump and injectors from the 300 onto the 250 and turn that into a 300? Do these engines have same internals ?
  22. Can anyone recommend a good Mack engine rebuilder in the Buffalo, NY area?
