  1. According to the Boston Fire Historical Society website, she was first assigned to Engine 33 (67-68) when they still had a 2piece company, then went to E-49 (68-71), then became a spare, before being Engine 54. She was replaced, then went back into the spare pool, then scrapped in 1984.
  2. Thank you for letting me join the forum. While I haven't had the pleasure of owning a Mack yet, I still love these man made creatures of might. One of my favorite Macks is an old Mack Prime Mover from Hallamore Transportation in Holbrook, MA. Here's a pic my brother took back in the early 90s.
  3. The 1942 Mack that went to Boston Fire Dept. was scrapped in 1984. I have attached a picture of the truck as Boston Engine 54.
