  1. being today is the first nice day we've had this year I was made aware that a mouse had spent the winter in the headliner of my super dog due to the pleasant aroma. So I pulled the headliner and luckily most of the urine was held in the insulation so i pulled that out and threw it in the trash. I figured i'd call mack tomorrow and see if they even still offer it but i was wondering what you guys use i was wondering if the dura mat you guys use would work on the ceiling? also while i'm in there I'm thinking about changing the cb antena's that go through the roof where would i get something like that, i'm only familiar with the ones that mount to the mirror brackets

    thanks

  2. Im in residential excavating in North East Pa, i currently move my equipment with a 20 ton tag trailer behind my tandem dump but I'd like to get a lowboy and tractor for the excavator. What I'm trying to figure out is with a 35 ton detachable drop deck (i'm guessing it would weigh around 8 tons) and a 18 ton excavator how much weigh will be on the rear axle. With my tag along trailer depending on where the machine is it determines how much weight is on the truck. I've never pulled a lowboy across a scale to see how the weight is distributed is it just half on the truck and half on the trailer? I know where the fifth wheel is plays a part but do you think i could get away with a single axle and be legal or will it have to be a tandem.

I've asked a few people around home and didn't really get an answer so I figured there's a lot of people on here who know a lot more about trucks than i do

    thanks for your help

  3. i can't speak for this truck or the other one he has for sale but I bought my superliner dump off him a few years ago and was overly pleased when i went to look at it because it was much better than the pictures showed and i've driven by these two a few times recently and they're pretty sharp looking from the road

  4. I have a 88 RW 613 dump that i work, I'd love to clean the old girl up but to replace all the chrome plastic parts it'd be 1000 between the cab lights and the smaller parts. the chrome is pealing off and i know metal parts are chromed through an electrical charge process so it wouldn't work on these? i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions

    thanks darren
