Thanks, I feel better now knowing I'm not stuck with the old tube type rubber.

Ok, one more rookie question. Will both of the 8.25" wheels fit on the rear hubs w/o being too wide? I'm not sure of the width of the stock 10.00-20 wheels, just don't want any surprises after I spend a bunch of money.

That assumption is correct.

Thanks Rob, do I need 22.5 x 8.25 rims for the conversion or some other width.
By the way I just found these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=310035874703 might be a deal for someone, I was recently quoted $200 a piece for Chinese 10.00-20's with tubes and flaps.

I'm not trying to steal this thread either but was getting ready to start a thread asking the same question. My B20 has 10.00-20's and Dayton's on it which have seen better days. If I am reading this right the Dayton hub is the same and I could use 22.5 Dayton wheels on the stock B20 hubs which in turn would allow me to use the much more common 11-22.5 tubeless tires.

Thanks for the tip. For some reason these http://www.oldmacksrus.com//Info.htm links won't open from my computer at home but I was able to open them from work today. I may not have a '50 model B-20 after all, it shows the first year for a B-20 as 1953. I'm having to go the lost title route so I guess I better confirm what year it is for sure. Does anyone know the GVW on this baby Mack?
I'll try and post a few pictures this weekend...

Hello all,
I just purchased a 1950 B-20 that I plan on making a antique style wedge bed car hauler out of. Where can I find some specs. on this truck? I tried the search feature but nothing came up for B-20.

Hello all,
I just aquirred my first Mack truck. It is a 1950 B-20 that is going to need a total restoration. I don't have much tied up in yet, but I'm sure that will change soon enough......
