  1. By the photo the charge air looks pretty bad But dose this truck have an exhaust brake as well as an engine brake (unit in the exhaust pipe by the bell housing) I had one the linkage fell off flap closed drove me nuts had all the same symtoms
  2. Most times when the light comes on in the A.M. then goes out (when it warms up) its low anti-freeze. That don't explain the surging. Take the cap off the top tank and check anti-freeze level with out a code your just guessing.
  3. VIN is supposed to be on passenger side above front axle. But in 1985 I worked at a Mack dealer and there was a problem with the frame rails in the Superliner and I my self replaced 4 R/S rails. Seems funny the # is gone off the rail and the door what dose the title or registration say?
  4. Ya no more trucks. I am 51 and my father worked for local Mack dealer for 50 years. My grandfather tells stories of going to California in a gas job Brockway. The only other thing for me is you want fries with that?
  5. I some times drive a 1977 DM steel nose not as nice as the GU's but there no parked regen need light.
  6. Thanks Mackpro but the part# on that service program is no longer available thru Mack even the phone# is disconnected.I thought maybe there was a kent more #.
  7. I have 6 2012 GU's that are not covered by this campaign. First one came apart last week and I wanted to pin the other 5. My dealer scraped there fixture to do the job and I cant find where to buy one. #s from the campaign are no longer available. I know they are out there but where? HELP

  9. Same as above NOX malfunction data valid but higher than normal
  10. I have a 2012 GU same problem but its not the power supply went over that. Went over the J1939 link not seeing it? Any help
