  1. I love the gimmes line! So why is it that if you own your own business the gimmes and half of every one else think your are loaded? If I were so loade why do I work 60 to 80 hours a week ? At least I havve determind my own fate and I can live with that just fine.

  2. Years ago I drve a 62 diamond T twin stick. Very sloppy trans.the way I was tought was to put the aux. box where you need it to start and shift the main box like you should a normal trans. When you get to the last gear on the main box then you slip it in to neutral and move the aux. to the next gear and then repeat.so on an empty truck you won't need all 20. It's like any thing else you will just have to get in and mess around to figure it out good luck and nice find.

  3. I am a building contractor in utah and it's been good to whatcu your progress .it looks like things are done similar to how we do them out west. I was surprised to see a front dump cement truck in the east. I know not all places out ther use them. Out here it is about all we have. I've been reading your discussion about radiant heat, in Utah at least the roof mounted tube heat is more economical to put in an is all most as efficient .usally about 4 to 5 times cheaper to install . Here our temps in the day can vary 20 to 40 degrees from cold to hot on a good day. Winter in mountain home the high can be 15 to 20 for weeks on end. The tube heat does very good and is cheap to run. Good luck on your building I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us would.

Think you know what the problem is but you don't know it; think it's your power problem

Now that you say injectors , when I looked at the truck for the first time we thought that it had 1 bad injector.     Maybe it is bad and that is the power and shake problem I've got . Thanks for the input . I'll have to check it out.

What do you mean struggle for power?

The truck just dogs down like some one detuned it . I haven't had it to the dealer yet  but that's coming.

the motor is an e7 460 but runs like my old 8.3 cummins . Once you reach 65 mph things Are good as long as traffic lets you stay there. When you go below 55 mph you have to start all over and that is when the shake or sutter start . May be the power is there and you can't fill it because of the shakes.

  6. Paul  some history about my truck. It sat for three years and since I bougt it all I have done is throw parts at it .

i think it needs new steer tires and probably could use tires all the way around .

my next move is to replace the front 3 u joints and carrier bearing.  Then put on new steer tires..

what I fill when I am driving it is a struggle for power between 35 mph and 55 mph witch is when the shake is

happening. Thanks for the help and I'll just keep working at it until it goes down the road smooth.

  7. I have a 98 ch 613  same thing happened I had to put a new speedo head in .

it was about  450.00 dollars. Mine came with a chart to set up for the correct speed.

I think it is close. The reason for the high cost Is the speedo head is electronic

    good luck

  8. I had the same thing happen in mt 98 12 valve cummins dodge

when I went back to rosella 10/40 w the leaks slowed down but never went totally away.

Iagree what ever you start with stay with.

the 98 has 375,000 miles on it. My 07 dodge 5.7 l cummins had 225,000 miles with no leaks and

and I have always used valve line 10/40 blend
