    What's involved to update my slack adjusters to self adjusting on my 87 superliner with Rockwell rears?

    My 87 RW753 has a 3406B 425hp with 15 spd and 2 spd rears and I love it

    This is the one I got, does it go in fairly easy or should I chill it in the freezer overnite to shrink it for an easier install then tack weld it?

    One of the top kingpin caps was missing on my 87 superliner went to mack and was told mack changed the style of the caps, the one they gave me looks like a freeze plug(just a disk with a slight curve). I put in on and when I grease the kingpin the it pushes out the cap. I found the original type and was wondering if there is a certin way to install it. I will take some pics later and post them.

    All mounted, used 2 1/4"x1/8" angle for brackets

    That's the style box I'm looking at, Protech 24" wide, run about $560 dollars plus brackets about another $100.

    Is that 24" or 30" wide?

    The front fuel tanks strap bracket on the passenger side broke and I want to change out the fuel tank with a tool box(don't need two 120 gal tanks on a tri axle dump). Has anyone done this, if so what size box was used? any pics would be appreciated.

    Pretty much everyday April thru November, not so much in winter months.

    That truck is beautiful, you guys did an amazing job. Hopefully some day I can get mine redone, it's a 87 RW753, 3406B 425hp, 15spd w/2spd rears.

    What are you guys using for chrome gauge bezel covers to dress up your dash, can't find anything specifically for macks.
