  2. Thank you Terry, I am afraid to post a price! this thing went way over budget, i stopped adding up the parts slips at around 115 that is more than i paid for my 379 when i bought it. not looking to get what i have in it.but i dont want to offend anyone with a high price. maybe i will put it in trucks for sale anyway.

I like this, Where do I find one ?

you can buy this one they are $450.00 plus shipping, they need a filler plate installed at the bottom of the nose to look correct. they are Coombs grills no longer available in chrome. this one was sent out and chromed for around four hundred dollars in just chrome cost.

I guess I do, but I got over-excited when I found a truck I could actually afford- but, the mechanic at the garage didn't see it until it was on the lift and he started working on it. And the dang thing had a good inspection sticker on it, that kind of pisses me off the most. I told the guy I bought it from about it and sent him pictures, and he apologised and said he didn't know. And I believe him. But whoever inspected it for him, that's a different story.

All that didn't happen since the last inspection, somebody just slapped a sticker on it and collected their $20 and didn't inspect $#it. It's good to know somebody like that sometimes, I might have done some sketchy things to get a sticker before, like using a beer can and two hose clamps to hide an exhaust leak or something, but this is too much, it's ridiculous really.

But i'm not going back on anybody to get them in trouble, and I should have looked closer. I probably would have still bought the truck, but at least I would have known what I needed to do and I probably could have gotten it a little cheaper.

And, on the bright side, I have located about everything I need to fix it.

Then I saw this girl in the produce section at the Winfall Winn-Dixie on the way home. She said ''excuse me, is this a cucumber or a zuccini"?

I said ''how should I know, do I look like a botanist or whatever you call it to you''?

She just stared at me and I continued on to the beer section.

Seemed suspicious to me, I think she knew exactly what it was.

    must be cold in there........

They powered A LOT of onan gensets over the years.

And they are still out there running, most were natural gas or propane, i have seen a few mounted on trailers that had a gas tank.

I have big fat hands and fingers I’ve had to pull the clutch fork and shafts out of the housing for extra space most the new ones you just loop over the top of the shaft or where ever the ears line up and pop the button in to locks it

My hands are no light weights, i can only fit one in the hole at a time, part of the problem, I am going to try messing with the clutch fork andhope i can get the cross shafts to slide out, the fork is right in the way of swinging the brake around the input shaft. if that wont work, it's trans jack time i guess. thanks
