Yes it is a R 400 with a Scania diesel. It has the ENDT475 motor.

AusChris: Since i cant put a clutch brake on, where would i be able to acquire a countershaft brake? There is also two PTO cover plates, one on each side, which side would you put it on?

Looking to install a clutch brake on to a R-400 that has a TRD77 transmission. Is there a difference between a 2 piece and a 1 piece set up? And what is entailed in order for a clutch brake to be installed?

Yea ducky: it is a R and i was just figuring out how to fix them since both sides at the bottom are rusted.

ThaddeusW, Yes i do want to add trailer air lines. The truck is a 1972 and there already is a hand brake on the column that is hooked up to the rear service brakes of the truck. That diagram would help me alot...and rubber air hoses will work instead of the original metal type, right?

I have a R-400 straight truck and i am having some problems figuring out how you would connect lines to the truck line so that the towed trailer brakes worked and are also functional?

What is a cheap and effective way to repair rust damage on the bottom of the door? Is it easier to replace the whole door or can the outer skin just be changed?

The R that i have has been sitting a good 8 years being used for storage...i have recently gotten her out and been working on the various things that are wrong with it...i noticed that when you turn the wiper nob that all you here is air leaking out...its just something that i have to work on and i just was wondering if it was the same....thannks alot

Thanks Thad....i figured that was what was worng...i wasn't sure but now i am.. thanks alot.. do you happen to know where i can pick up the little piece of metal that connects to the throttle linkage for the idle wire...it is for the idleing control in the cab..it connects right from the wire to the linkage...just a question...

That open exhaust port doesn't close when you press the pedal...air just leaks out once you press the pedal...that means that the relay valve is no good..right?

On the air line that is directly under the cab there is a relay valve i think? When you press the foot pedal air blows out of it? That means that that one is crapped out right?
