I've got a 1954 white 3000 gas flathead 6 . the engine is 30in.long and say's white alover it. went to parts supply house and they cant figure what engine it is. they called a ret. mach. up and said could be hercules or continental . still cant find anything. I need to get head and exh.int , valve cover gaskets . can anybody help me find out what I have for eng. and help with getting parts. I tried to find this out in comp.but found nothing. thanks for now carl .

hello - I grew up in the50s and 60s and drove a few old trucks and never forgot them.now i'm in my 60s and have 38 ford 1 1/2 ton and my prize 54 white 3000 . I also collect vintage farm tractors I now have 18 . I always liked the old style trucks they had a look that you can tell they were strong,and they were beautifull . I've ben into old vehicles since 15 years old it's in the blood iv'e have so much iron they cal mme the junkman . see ya carl
