  1. The EGR valve is not cleanable and will need to be replaced. Be careful as the bolts mounting it like to break off. I have a trick that works most times. I use a crack torch and heat the manifold where the bolts go in and work the bolts back and forth while spraying with penetrant and re-heating the area while working the bolts. If one breaks off the manifold will need to be removed. I have saved a lot of manifolds by extracting or using a carbide bit to remove the broken bolt and installing heli-coils. If they come out make sure you run a tap through the threads and use plenty of nickel anti seize on the new bolts.

  2. My experience is our customers are suprised how good the trucks pull. We even have MP7's pulling 80,000 and no complaints. Yours may not have been spec correctly for the application. Have seen people by trucks from other dealers and not happy with the way the truck pulled due to it is not spec correctly for the application.

  3. Sheppard gears have a bleeder screw inside of a nut on top of the gear. You turn the steering full left and open the bleeder 3-4 turns and turn it to the right and close the bleeder and repeat untill no air comes out. I do this with the engine running. I have seen this cause many issues and have had other dealers miss this step. Also are you getting full turning lock to lock? The steering should stop about 1/4 inch from the steering stops. If not the boxes need to be adjusted if they have manual stops and if they have auto stops they need to be reset and the front wheels off of the ground and the steering turned lock to lock to set them.
