  1. Ok guys, which way is the correct facing for bulldogs on mirrors, old logo mud flaps, etc? I've seen factory lit. that shows each way. I've also got an older Mack Trucks patch, bulldog facing left. Have seen them facing right too. Which is correct, or is there a correct?
  2. Sorry I haven't replied lately, been burning the midnight oil. Sounds like a good idea to have a tarp material made to replace my seal. Should be tough stuff. And still a bunch cheaper than $150 seal that Double Eagle quoted me . Outrageous for a flat piece of rubber! I think I might give it a try, Thanks for all help.
  3. I'm redoing an 85 R688ST. It's got a Double Eagle 36" bunk on it. I'm having trouble finding a new seal that goes between the cab and it. There is about 4" or so between them. It had flat rubber on it originally. I would like to put a bellows type back if possible. Can anyone lend some help with this problem? Thanks guys
  4. Just wandering if parts were very easy to get . Never been around one. I suppose you would'nt even use Lo-Lo in general operation? Very nice looking, original , except for the diesel !. Thanks a lot Superdog for your help.
  5. Recently seen one for sale, 20 speed quad, but has a thermodyne diesel. I'm sure somebody out there can tell me, Wasn't a B68 supposed to be gassers not diesel. The even , odd, number thing? Also some info on the quad box could be helpful as well. Thanks in advance .
  6. Thanks a lot for the replies guys, My 95 just purred right along, but it was MECANICAL pump. Still the best!!! It eases my mind somewhat to know that I'm not the only one that idles rough.
  7. I've got a problem that maybe somebody out there has had and cured. It is totally computerized naturally. It has a distinct ERRADIC miss from about 800 to 1000 rpm. Seems like it smooths out after that, but could just be motor dynamics.Only notice it while stationary. It's got plenty of hp. on takeoff pull, and can't hear any misses.It's got my dealer stumped. Got it 1 yr. ago, has done it since. in the last year they've replaced injectors, run fuel psi.,had all 6 injector pumps out, replaced #6, broken spring keeper. Run the valve clearance,twice, last time found a rocker shaft gaulded, replaced it, flashed the computer, set it to min-max hp. Wierd thing is , it does'nt do it until warmed up. Dealer has talked to the factory, Nowhere to turn. I'm thinking electronics, Please help if anybody has had the same thing, THANKS.
  8. Jay, If your truck seems to warm up unusually quick, try changing the thermostat, it could be not opening all the way,would run hot also. That might be a quick fix, Might consider it .
