The universal caps are loose in the yoke holes. Thought about changing to the electronic style yoke but electronic speedometers seem to be real pricey

1979 cabover tilt ram

I had trouble with cab tilt on a Cruisliner a few years back. Blowing lines and pumps and no tilt. Even replaced a cab lock cylinder to no avail. Finally started pulling cylinders and found broken seals on the end of the cylinder rod causing it to dead lock. I know you said cylinder is new but may be worth checking -

I use to run a 1984 MH 613 with an E9. They are good trucks and the cabs will be around a long time. Quite a few of them around as parts trucks. Lot of frame parts same as superliner. Now working on a 93 MH as a show truck -
