  1. I have heard this a long time ago, B 60 series trucks, 2 axle gasoline power B 60 after 1959 all gas 2 & 3 axles were B60's, all diesels 2 & 3 axles were B61's

    before 1959 2 axle diesel power B 61

    3 axle gasoline power B 62

    3 axle diesel power B 63

I have two B 63 parts trucks consecutive serial numbers. and knew of a B62 locally.

  2. My dad was telling me how he was pulling cars off the Highway for days. He was only 15 at the time driving a F-350 for East Side Garage. I like the picture of the 2 B-models and Ford plowing the best.

The Ford is coming upon a buried car.

  3. For clean up they took anything with a dump body, 10 wheelers worked all night for 2 months. Local sand and gravel co. came to me for any 673 engines or parts to get trucks running from the their parts trucks and all the pit trucks were there. No registrations nothing.

  4. This truck is known to me as Ralphy's B-81, driven by Ralph M. for the Kesseli & Morse Co . which was bought by Scavone about the mid 70's . The Kesseli & Morse logo is still on the barrel. This truck and others delivered many loads to our jobs in the 60's thru the early 70's. The Kesseli & Morse Co. had one of the first DM-800s in the area (1965).

This is the LJ the Kesseli & Morse Co. used to deliver their masonry supplies. Went to a local concrete form contractor to haul form panels, then a farm had and I don't think they used it,

I got it about 1999. long double frame, 707,and 24" tires.

  5. I didn't know Mack made a cabover until I bought this one in 1967, and rebuilt it in 1980.post-146-0-65079900-1359940596_thumb.jpg post-146-0-58760000-1359940628_thumb.jpg

More interesting cabover information, This is from the Diamontd T sales sheet; 1955

New release in the cabover model 921C, double wall aluminum cab, insulated fiberglass roof,

and the first ones used L model Mack doors.

Don't know if it is true or not but a Mack engineer left Mack to develop the Diamont T cabover.

Later production the top of the door was squared off. Might be similar to the G model Mack and KW

    sitituation.

Taken in the early 80's , I tried to buy this truck, but waste company donated it to a local B 61, B 67? not sure of power , I think inline.

vocational school mechanics class, I am told it has been restored and may still be around.

    Worcester MA 1980's

B615 SX, long wheelbase and the company built the roll-off hoist in the 60's and claim to be

    the first one in Massachusetts.
