Congrats, I wanted a B model for years and years, and finally got one about 18 months ago, love it. The restore takes time (about 1/2 way done) and more money than I expected, but I love my B61. I grew up with Mack's, have it in my blood.

Anyone know a good source for a B61 muffler/exhaust heat shield? I attached a pic of the old one on my truck.

Could use some advice on how to remove the steering wheel from my 61 B61. That sucker is on there! Any one want to sell a puller that will fit it, or tell me what puller on-line to buy? I've already tried the methods that I've read on this site. I've backed the nut off and pulled up on it while hitting the nut with a hammer. I've put a bottle jack on the floor and pushed it up with a short 2x4, but the floor board just went down, etc. Just wanted to get it off for the winter so I can restore it/fix the cracks.

Looking for a used tachometer that is in good working order, and has good chrome bezel. Just looking before I buy one from Watts.

watts does. that ones of the items that the pins aren't screwed up on and fit the original holes. the thermodyne and diesels you needs o test fit before paint

Watts is out of the B61 emblems, said there would be more coming, but its been 6 months since they told me that.

Looking for a used radiator protector for my B61.

My B61 driver door had a lot of damage when I bought it, so I believe the hinges are bent and slightly off. Anyone got any good hinges?

My B61 is a 1961 single axle. Not sure if it came with lights on the back from the factory, but it had 3 rusty, rotted lights on it when I got it. I replaced the 2 outside lights, got them hooked up and are good working signal lights. The wires on the center light were rotted off, so i can't tell what or where they were hooked up to. Did the trucks from the factory have a brake light? If so, where do the wires run to? Or was this just a red light that came on when you turn on the head light switch?

Wondering whats the best fuel additive these days to protect the old END673, not to mention the fuel tanks/ lines/ injectors, etc.. She'll be road worthy soon.

I'm looking for a couple of B61 and thermodyne emblems if anyone has any in good shape.

Anyone know what color Mack painted their engines back in the day? I have a 1961 B61, but there is no trace of what color the engine use to be when it was built. Now it's just surface rust, dirt and oil.

Any one got a couple of orginal B Model 5/8's wheel lug clamps they can spare? I don't think anyone sells them anymore. When I bought my truck, a couple of front studs were broken off and the clamps were long gone. Picture of one attached.
