Try one thing. If possible bypass the drier to see if you still have a air loss.
Air dryer failed, thats why i replaced it, I am going to bypass it to see if the new one is leaking inside somewhere. thanks for the replys.

very nice good luck with it guys!

Believe it or not an ETECH with the right injectors turbo and computer flash will do over 2000ft lbs, I have the dyno sheet herre somewhere on a Etech 400 with an upgraded turbo, injectors and a computer flash at Illinois Dyno Center and it showed over 550hp to the rear wheels with rwtq at 1600 that puts it over 600hp and 2000ft lbs at the flywheel. I know a lot of guys that have done the Mak upgrades to get more HP only to be dissapointed after spending a fortune. I say go spend a little over a grand on a computer reflash and a set of injectors and if you have a 427 up turbo rock on and watch the pyro so you dont melt it down on a long pull, there is a lot of hp in those ecm's.
Where do you get this flash done, read my other post to Mackpro

They tell us stuff like that also, we hear you gotta change the trans or add an trans oil coller or get a bigger clutch or rear axles. They are just covering their ass if something goes wrong. And it mostly for warranty reasons so if you do blow a rear axle that was rated to low for the HP and try to get it warrantied. We let the customer know what Mack said and let the customer decied if its worth the risk. 99% say go with it. Its not like these engines are every gonna put out 2250 Ft LBS of power and tear something up. We always tell Mack, yea we changed the rear axle or clutch or whatever ( as long as the customer knows) and they crank the HP up.
I have a RD with a etech400h.p., what I need to do to get it up to the 427/460 range with high tourqe. I will get you my vin # and turbo #. I am running 300h.p. injectors right now. I changed motors(through a rod out block) this one was used out of a garbage truck. I used my ECMS and electrical harness, turbo but did not change injectors, I still got my original ones. Used motor was rated at 300h.p., I do have that ECM as well.

steel or alum, i am looking for a steel one?
Saw the price, is it left or right, I need the right side?
-
Yeah Im looking,( slowly) I would really like to find some 3.86 rears but 4.17 or 3.65 would work too.
I have a set of 4.17 out of a 82 R-Model, front one has the air power divider and is pretty fresh, they were out of a 38000 pound camelback still in housings, I need housings for a 2000 RD on mack air ride or a cut off. THe truck is doubled frame. Mine are cracked and the rears have high mileage.

any vibrations under pull? Drain some oil out of your rears check for metal.

THANK YOU mine was 1/22

Do you mean a complete air drier or just the dessicant cartridge replaced? If just the cartridge, was the purge valve rebuilt and possibly cut an O-ring?
I would suspect a bad check valve on either the drier or the wet tank. It will bleed air out the purge valve if one of them is leaking.
was a complete dryer from mack, blows off and the green needle (air guage) drops all the way to 90 PSI and the cycle repeats.red needle drops to about 105 psi.
-
Whats to much? Every few second? Is this the reason for all the parts being replace? Does it build air to 125ish and continue to purge? What exactly does it do?
Check the signal lines coming from the governor. Check routing, check for holes from rubbing.
Blows off about every minute to minute &1/2, air dryer was changed for service, it does build air to 125, it just cycles to frequently. Signal line was replaced, no leaks in lines, orginal set up and routing.

Barry put me down for 2 sets (30inch)

Good eye,Vinster! Yep, there is a B-81 back there. They have a few left as water trucks, dump trucks, fuel trucks, and the like. They won't get rid of 'em either.Surprized they let this R-700 low boy truck go.It still kind of rough when you got up close, but these pictures really were flattering!
Grey paint covers like crazy!

I've got a Mack air ride from a '93 CH,but they are 4:17's,they have budd type hubs
I think I forgot say my truck is doubled rail so I will need the narrow width suspension.

A B-model Converterd to a R-model
Dah, shame on me, LOL

Here's the BCR. It was a twin screw when it was new but someone made it a single axle(they did use an old mack rear though). It's got a 237 with a 5 + 2 tranny. I've been looking for one of these for a while now. Actually I looked at this truck about 10 years ago but I didn't relise it was a BCR at the time because I didn't know what one was back then. Thanks, Josh
What is a BCR other than a B-Model conversion
?

Yes Oil psi will shut it down ,try a new oil psi sensor its in the programs features in the vecu can be turned off if you want but factory setting is on so no oil psi truck doesnt run .
thanks, i will try that.

I found this little sweetheart about 20 miles from the house today. 237, 5 speed, 34K camelback, with 89,000 original miles. They're asking $7500. It sure would look good under a 35 ton detach lowboy.
looks pretty clean, little paint and she'll look like new!
-
It says it has a wet line and i see the controls and hook ups, but were is the tank. I am thanking 8500 now, it's a little rougher than i thought.
looks like the right tank is the hyd tank, looks like a hyd. hose coming out of the back side bottom.
