Great shot of the DM lowboy.
You even got the old "Hydro-Pruf" building in the background. Fans of "The Sopranos" saw that same building in the opening credits.

I heard Superdog has the entire list of every Mack made,
only problem is it's in his headin his backyard.Fixed it for ya!

They are from the Ron Carey collection. Very nice trucks that are restored to the same high standards as the Mahan Collection trucks.

That stretch-nose on the '51-53 integral sleeper cab would suggest an big L-Head straight six under the hood.
Dodge trucks wouldn't get the Hemi V8 until '54 when they switched to the "trapezoid" grille.
I had to check in Dodge Trucks by Don Bunn book to verify.
It's a shame it was scrapped as not many exist.

Chuck P where are the 3 J Z trucks from ? Nice pictures from all. Thanks Joe D.
They belong to a M-B car dealer (Contemporary Motor Cars) in Little Silver, NJ.

how many trucks were there? I was going to take a ride down, but plans changed
Medium-size show on all concrete surface. I'm gonna say about about 50 trucks.
Weather was threatening all day but just a passing drizzle. They had the potential to get a lot more trucks because it was heavily promoted.

I figured I would resurrect an old thread. Caught these fine specimens at the 2014 White Bash in South Brunswick, NJ just this morning. It was a nice little White-theme show with a few other brands sprinkled in. Enjoy!
'66 U609T on the hook and an '85 DM with worn out Bristol-Donald body. Plus two local firetrucks.

I love those old A64F Autocars. I remember as a kid a local fuel oil company had a black day cab tandem that was always clean.
That wrecker has a massive Donaldson air cleaner on it.

Good stuff Mark! It's great that a moment in your family's history was captured for future generations to see.
Having worked on a farm myself as a young lad I can appreciate the dedication and hard work involved with farming and getting the goods to market. It was a rough life but it made me appreciate the little things a lot more.

When I saw that parked in the row I was drawn to it like a magnet!
Excellent example of a "survivor". Leave it that way, IMO.
Don't get me wrong, I like shiny trucks just like everyone else, but I like trucks with character too.

Well, there you go! I always referred to them as Autocar "Lite".

That's gotta be at the top of the list of awesome things that a truck restorer/owner can hope to achieve.
As others have posted before me, well done and a heck of an accomplishment.

Here is a picture I took back in the early '80s. It's a scan of an old Polaroid.
Taken at the Crazy Eddie Diesel Truckin' Nationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.
Bob McLain from Buttzville, NJ was the owner at the time.
Wheels of Time cover added for your enjoyment.
