  1. Just wanted to give an update on my Granite. Received the S467 billet turbo from YTS yesterday. Installed it this morning. Have had the big exhaust manifold on the truck for a few months. Installed the Grand Rock 5” turbo to stack pipes and I have a straight 6” stack (yes it’s loud). Also have Columbus Diesel performance injectors in the truck. Took the old girl out today. Wow. What a difference. It’s a whole different running truck. I live in eastern Ohio and we have lots of hills. Was able to run up a few of them loaded without shifting and only went down one gear on some steeper ones. EGT’s are 150 degrees cooler on the pyro. Boost is up to 35-37. Can’t thank everyone enough for their help on here. This is an awesome site. This combination works. May pitch the Egr bump cam later this year. Going to drive it like this for a while and enjoy it. Thanks.
  2. Thanks OldRedMack. I just texted them and Yiyito said they were on vacation and will be back next week. Thanks for all the replies too.
  3. Thanks Mack Technician. My truck smokes a lot on takeoff and shifts and the exhaust temp gets up to redline on hard pulls. Was hoping this bigger turbo would help me out.
  4. Had a question about my 2005 Mack Granite CV713. Last eight of vin: 032699 I have a 370 hp motor that has Columbus Diesel low flow laser cut injectors. Increased power quite a bit. I did the E7 exhaust manifold swap and ordered the 631GC5153M turbo and 5” turbo to stack pipes from Grand Rock. After I install the turbo and pipes, what update should I have my Mack shop do on my unit? Thanks-Ken
  5. I have a 2005 CV713 Granite tri-axle and mine started doing the same thing as yours. I have 425's on mine. A loader in our rock yard backed into my truck and damaged a lot of front end stuff including the steering pump which is bolted to the right front side of the motor. After fixing the truck (including a new steering pump) the problem completely went away. I would try changing the pump out. They are'nt real expensive.
