  1. I have an antrim oversize injectors and s400 1.1 exhaust housing turbo with pump all the way up and my torque rise curve is set forward quite a bit. I have no idea what im putting to the wheels but I see 43 pounds of boost by 1250 rpm. It feels quick with 442 rears and a 9 speed. To put it in perspective. I saw 28-30 psi by 1700 rpm in stock trim. Just turning up the pump made a difference but the biggest difference was putting bigger injectors in. The bigger turbo was just to be safe. I have experimented on the same setup with the stock turbo and pyro temps are 100 degrees hotter and worse mpg. Hope this is okay to include in your thread as some extra info.

This is on a 95 rd E7350 mechanical pump.

  2. Usually 10 hp for every pound off boost. But I doubt its true. I feel like my mack maybe makes 460 or over but im not sure. I make 43 pounds by 1200 rpm in my rd. To be honest it doesnt really even make a difference having all that power when you only got a 9 speed and have to worry about using too much fuel or boost at a low rpm in overdrive. Sorry about the rant, but I think you lost at least 100 hp

  3. Ok I just researched more and im even wondering if my transmission can be converted to a 13 speed with some sort of back box upgrade I call it in Fullerton Road Ranger to talk to a technical person but they didn't know if I could or not all they did was tell me what transmission they would recommend after researching more on my own online about people that have done swaps it seems that the only ones that have the letter C at the end are convertible what can you do with a B Series transmission is there a way to make this current transmission into a 13 speed by just adding some sort of kit.I have no idea where to begin to look

  4. Petermack I would live to have a new trailer like that but I heard you have to order them and have them made and wait 8 weeks or so to get them I was thinking of water and one in the winter time but is there a catalog I can look through to see whether I want East Meck or trailStar and what options I can get? I also don't know if a brand new trailers going to be any later than the slant nose Fruehauf I am pulling if I put aluminum wheels on it however the whole thing is to get an air ride trailer so maybe it's worth it

  5. Off topic but Conco lafarge SUCKS. I've been complaining for years about going to that place and I've avoided it all year until today the reason I don't like going in there is because I can go in with a very clean truck but when I leave I am forced to use the tire wash which isn't even a tire wash it is a giant vote or like that you have to drive through that's some nurses your tires and bumper in water which isn't even clean water it is covered in limestone and that soon as you come out you have to drive up a long hill and after 20 minutes your truck looks like crap and it takes an hour to wash because you have nothing but white limestone dust all over your tires and wheels

  6. Was on a job in clarendon hills today with a guy in a w900L with 210 wb and he was struggling to get up into a foundation. It was a road where the curb was cutout on both ends in a finished community. 20 blodgett clarendon hills if you want to see what it looks like in live street view. My mack made the turns but it was kinda tight. Makes me worried about a longer wheelbase.

  7. http://m.truckpaper.com/ListingDetail/Index?industryName=truck&listingId=5623987&categoryId=211Wowyour setup Looks awesome. What is your empty weight? 27500?

So you have seen the Underhill black pete a lot and think it would be a good choice? He wants 40k. I think it's worth it because they are getting rare and finding one that well kept is tough.

I also found this gem and wondering if taking a trip out to cali would be my best bet. What you think?

  8. Here I am again! can't stop thinking about the pete. Told the guy I want to go to work with him Saturday to see what I think lol. My new thoughts are to get a used air ride trailer that a buddy Will be selling and hook it up to the mack and use the fruehauf for the pete.

I think it might be a good idea. That pete seems too nice to pass up.

Petermack you said you have a 240 wb? Do you only haul material to plants? Or do you go everywhere? New hone construction? Backing up to foundations etc?

  9. I called the guy back and told him I'm going a different direction and that I'm not interested in the truck he was happy that I let him know right away I think this winter I'm going to be looking for a brand new 24 foot aluminum trailer and my money will be best spent looking for a used Mack r model or CH and use my current trailer that I'm pulling now so I can have two trucks put to work
