  1. Ya know…

First Gear did a great job on their 1/25 scale “high detail” (or whatever they called them) diecast replicas of the B model. But they never did tooling for an R model in that series.

Maybe, if we had enough interest, they might be persuaded to tool up for an early R600…

    I’m just saying…

  2. Thanks to Joey and another regular, who prefers to remain anonymous, I now have two of the #2 coins!  Thanks to both of you gentlemen.

I also just got my 125th anniversary coins from Watts.

Now, if I can just keep a watch on Watts for any new ones…

it was $27.45, for 1 coin, shipping included.   No need to make a profit here.. hope fully you can get a second one.

I sent you a message with addresses and such.  Let me know there how to get money to you.

    Thanks, Jo-Jo!

ok..  well,  I guess I can part with one... I have 2 of each... just need your address...

I'll send you a message.  If you can part with one, I'd appreciate it.  How much you want for the coin and the shipping?

  5. Thanks for the welcome, guys.  Yeah, I've been pretty busy and have not been able to do much on here.  Just stopped in once in a while to see if everybody was still here.

Jo-Jo, I have the #1 and #3 coins.  I just need the #2 coins.  Wouldn't you know I'd miss the one with my favorite model on it!

  6. I was out of communication when the 2nd series challenge coins were available.

I need 2 of these...one for each of the grandsons.  Will consider 2 from one individual or 1 each from 2 different people.

So, if you have any you could spare, please let me know.

DAs Geoff says above check you home state laws.. If you can find the PR / desk bound officer for your "Diesel Cops" they will take the time to look up the law a LOT BETTER than the local DMV.. We even has one come to our chapter meeting, lay out the basics and answered a lot of questions.

Here in NC, we have class A, B, & C licenses...in both commercial and "civilian" forms.  Sounds similar in SC.

  8. Yes, even a commercial vehicle less than 26,001# can be operated without a CDL.  That's because so many "commercial" vehicles are actually pickup trucks, cars, and such.  So, there is an exemption for those lighter weights.

26,001# and over requires appropriate class A or B CDL IF used to generate revenue.  If not used to used to generate revenue, there are non-commercial class A and B licenses available (at least in some states).

And, a CDL can be used in place of a "civilian" license.
