Overdrive magazine has gone down that same path. Gone are the days when tractor dissection reports would offer both compliments and criticisms of the vehicles they were testing and potential buyers had a detailed report with honest, unbiased opinions to help with their research. Now they seem more interested in serving the manufacturers than consumers.

c) ENDT676/676 were all maxidynes. I cant comment if the EM6 and EM7 was the note for a just a maxidyne. When they came out with the 4 valve heads most people I know just called them a E6 / E7 or maxidyne / Econodyne. someone will have to give you a solid answer on this one
Yep, The "M" is for Maxidyne.

Somehow the total ended up being less than the sum of its parts, which is a trademark of that writing team. It’s however, an accurate account of if real-life events.

The price is $3000. The truck is a White Compact.

OD you're in my old stomping grounds again! I used to live in Washington pa on rte 136! When my dad owned the salvage yard we hauled our scrap car bodies to monongahela city, "Mon city" to the locals!
I drive one of the dozens of trucks that would drive past your house in the middle of the night, if it was east of I-70.

I'm thinking on 51
Yep, it’s on the southbound side, just south of Rte 136 and the Red Caboose.

OD, do you remember where the signs were in Rostraver? I was thinking along the river on Rte 136 or 906 but the Terex has me thinking possibly Rte 51.

Cauldron?
And as far as that shed being in the way so as to not being able to get a clear picture, set up your smoker and........errrrr.......ahhhh......oh nevermind. Ladies and Gentlemen, here's my co-host, Green Dash!Thank you Randy, and hello Ladies and Germs! Isn’t there something that can be done to remove that shed from the photo? That B model is hot, I’ll bet it would fire right up with the turn of the key. OD knows all the pickcher editing tricks, whether it’s Photochop or good old fashioned smoke and mirrors and more smoke.

There are still too many drivers leaving running trucks unattended because waiting for the cab to heat or cool when they return is out of the question. Wasting fuel and wear and tear aren't reason enough to put a stop to unnecessary idling, I doubt this will be either.
-
Congrats on the 2 year card! I've heard from drivers with one year cards (or less) that once they cut your time it's impossible or damn near it to get a 2 year again.
BTW, you'll be traveling uphill at some point on your trip to Oakland.

The '14 Pinnacle I drive has a Wingman system. It will only brake when the "Adaptive Cruise Control" is activated or, as mentioned above, when impact is imminent. It's annoying and takes some getting used to. I don't like the idea of a computer having control over the brakes as electronics do fail from time to time and the system will sometimes apply the brakes because it spotted an overpass or something similar.

Never thought I'd say this but I love that IH 2000D on the poster.

unfortunately all the Estes trucks I have seen around here lately have lost their cool colors and gone to 'garbage truck white' with just red wheels and a yellow stripe
The Estes terminal next door to where I work has some new KW's, all with the old stripes. Maybe the units you saw were bought used or part of an acquisition?

That stretch of the turnpike was even worse 2 years ago when the WB was under construction an all traffic was on the EB side. Trucks were restricted to the right lane which was now on the shoulder and inches away from the guardrail, which was damaged on a daily basis. I wrote the turnpike and got a form email back saying the engineers determined the shoulder to be sufficient for heavy truck travel. At that point I said screw 'em and took my chances on getting caught in the hammer lane.

Beautifully done. I think a flat or mid-roof would look better but since this is a worker I'm sure the owner appreciates the extra space.
