T675 E6 2vlv options?

Hello,

I just joined here and see you have a lot of knowledgeable people here and was wondering if anyone could answer some questions I have?

I have a T675-4*L5910 237 maxidyne 2 valve E6 that came out of an 1970 R model that was put in a 57 b85 some time ago. The truck is going through a full restoration and the engine was leaking from the head gaskets and after pulling it apart found fire rings leaking and it to be worn out with .060" ring gap and liners had an unacceptable taper. Liners are out now and the block bores are not out of round, crank is standard and within reusability guidelines. I have been searching parts availability and have found pretty much everything needed except a roadblock at the cam and con rods. I have a 4160 cam and 4169 con rods.

Can anyone tell me if there are options to make the engine more robust with the later rods like used in a 300 and if there are better cam options? I believe the block webbing was strengthened for the 300 but is there main cap gusset brackets available? I'm looking to do a full rebuild pistons, liners, rod/main bearings, cam/acc bearings, cam/lifters and con rods and if there is options to make the engine more robust that would be my preference. I also found 675a jake brake housings and install parts to fit this engine, found rebuild parts as well.

I remember these engines were very durable with a massive amount of torque for the times but got much better with the addition of the air to air cooler and more fuel. Has anyone added a charge air cooler or put an air to air cooler to get more out of this engine and would I have any options to get more torque and power out of this down the road after it was overhauled?  btw due to it having a 4.25 rear end ratio, it is getting a TRQ7220 double clutch trans when it gets put back in the chassis.
