if you're gonna run anywhere between 80,000 to 105,500 you can expect 5-5.5 US mpg at least. Local running might be a tad lower and I'd be careful if you're gonna pull anything over 90,000lbs. The engine will be your weak point. We have injector issues with heavier loads here in Canada. Be respectful with it and you should be fine.

Thank you for the information, that really helps out. I run a 380 c12 in an 03 Pete now, only get around 5 mpg or so. I haul 80000 25 to 35 miles one way to the grain processes plant then return to the elevator empty, normally get 4 to 5 loads a day and run on average about 60 mph. With 4.35 rears in the mack I'm looking at, wasn't sure what kind of mileage to expect. I appreciate the information and any other tips or insight would be appreciated as lwell.
